This quantitative study seeks to investigate the relationships between strategy, structure, management processes, culture, staff performance, and information technology in order to bring about changes in organizational performance in the Virgin Islands Public Sector Organizations. A quantitative, explanatory, non-experimental, survey-based, and correlational research design is utilized to respond to the research questions and test the hypotheses. The sample utilized five government agencies which were given fifty (50) Knowledge Management Practices (KMPs) questionnaires to be completed by their employees. Thus, this research aims to look closely at the relationship between the key factors and to examine how they impact organizational performance in government agencies. Constructive use of knowledge management has been essential in the survival and success of an organization in the highly-driven, global market and has developed a durable capability towards solving problems, making decisions, and restoring and increasing organizational performance. Thus, the public sector organizations have begun to embrace KMPs and their tools as a means of business growth and survival. The study will show the importance of KMPs as a strategic resource for today's businesses. As a result of global changes and world market competition, transformations are required for market survival in terms of increased innovation and competitiveness, employee training, increased flexibility, improved processes and organizational performance. The results will show how the factors of KMPs influence the performance in business organizations. Thus, the findings of this research work will reveal the potential opportunities of KMPs through effective and efficient knowledge creation processes. The implications of the study will be discussed.
