Creating new life: Forming new faith communities within existing congregational settings utilizing personal traits and experiences
by Roberts, Timothy Kelley, D.Min., UNITED THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, 2011, 130 pages; 3504840

Abstract:

The objective of this project is for the participants to start new faith communities by finding intersections between their life experiences and natural traits and the needs of their community. The methodology utilized to accomplish this goal was the qualitative approach. The results revealed that as persons gained a better awareness of themselves, they were better able to draw from their experiences to form relationships with other people, the crux of new faith communities. The project yielded the conclusion of it being easily replicable as long as it remains fluid so that it may remain easily adaptable to changing conditions.
