Photoproduction of the &phgr;(1020) Meson in Neutral Decay Mode &ggr;P→&phgr;P→KSK LP
by Seraydaryan, Heghine, Ph.D., OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY, 2011, 226 pages; 3492259

Abstract:

The &phis;(1020) meson photoproduction cross sections in the neutral decay mode &phis; → KSKL are measured for the first time. This work presents measurements of differential cross sections, dσ/dt, dσ/d cos [special characters omitted], &phis; decay angular distributions, W(cos &thetas;) and W(Φ), and spin-density matrix elements, ρ 0, in the Helicity and Gottfried-Jackson frames, in the energy range 1.6 GeV < Eγ < 2.6 GeV. We analyzed the photoproduction data of the g11a experiment collected on an LH2 target using the CLAS detectector at Hall B, TJNAF. The measured cross sections show some differences from the charged decay mode &phis; → K+ K.

About ProQuest Dissertations & Theses
With over 2.3 million records, the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) database is the most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses in the world. It is the database of record for graduate research.

The database includes citations of graduate works ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Of the 2.3 million graduate works included in the database, ProQuest offers more than 1.9 million in full text formats. Of those, over 860,000 are available in PDF format. More than 60,000 dissertations and theses are added to the database each year.
