Some Are Here, Some Are Missing
by Chandler, Christopher Kyle, M.A., SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA UNIVERSITY, 2011, 67 pages; 1502403

Abstract:

My writing style is free-verse. I recreate images from my past and scenes remembered from rural life growing up in Mississippi. My goal is to derive physical beauty from nature. My communion with natural objects fosters an sensitivity and moral instinct independent of, often hostile to, analytical reason. My emotions are quickened by the appeal of suggestion and the mystery of transformation. I have a craving for the unfamiliar and the supernatural; a fondness for the unnatural and the horrible. My passion, however, is for strangeness added to beauty.
