How personality types have an effect on work team conflicts and conflict management
by Magnuson, Kelly J., M.B.A., THE COLLEGE OF ST. SCHOLASTICA, 2011, 54 pages; 1492581

Abstract:

Working in teams is increasingly common in the business world. Along with teamwork comes conflict. This paper investigates the issues of workteam conflicts and the possible roles that individual personality types play in conflict. This capstone project investigates the use of the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory as a potentially useful tool in creating and working with work teams. Further, five courses from the Master of Arts in Management program are synthesized in the Analysis section providing further depth and integration of learning applied to the area of workteams and workteam conflicts.
