Traveler Defined
by Lowry, Kimberly L., M.A., PRESCOTT COLLEGE, 2010, 134 pages; 1483532

Abstract:

This alternative thesis is a non-fiction creative work—a memoir of my recovery from a severe brain injury. It explores the challenge of writing a memoir without complete memories as it tells the story of how I have learned to reconstruct and recover myself. Part of the rich literary nonfiction memoir genre, Traveler Defined touches on issues of identity formation, structures of language and meaning, and relations between narratives and emotional memory.
