Beckwourth, Ashley, Rose: Mountain men
by Keating, Matthew R., M.A., PRESCOTT COLLEGE, 2009, 84 pages; 1464089

Abstract:

For my thesis I wrote a book about The Rocky Mountain Fur Trade. This book focused on three specific mountain men that are showcased less often in Rocky Mountain Fur Trade literature. I compared the lives and achievements of these men as their paths crossed throughout fur trade history. The trappers highlighted in my thesis are Jim Beckwourth, William H. Ashley, and Edward Rose.
