Anger expressions between men and women: Results obtained a freshman sociology class at the University of Arkansas
by Birky, Kelly E., M.A., UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS, 2007, 99 pages; 1446662

Abstract:

While conflict between men and women is nothing new, differences in how the two sexes are socialized to view and express anger may be an underlying, and significant, reason for the problems that exist between them. While much research has been done on how men and women react emotionally in specific situations, there has been little in depth research done on what is the initial cause of the problems between the sexes or how to solve them. For this reason, it is necessary to take a closer look at how gender effects anger expression, and how that may affect their interactions with one another on a personal or professional level.
