Precise pressure sensor temperature compensation algorithms

Abstract:

The motivation behind this thesis is to explore various temperature compensation algorithm methods in an attempt to use an alternate pressure sensor in order to achieve a cost savings and still meet the strict requirements of the aerospace application. A specific pressure sensor was identified as a candidate but the sensor's error tolerance due to temperature variations was not ideal for this application. The idea of this thesis is to explore and develop compensation algorithm methods that could be implemented in the application's controlling software that would compensate for the excessive errors due to temperature effects.
